MEET JUDGE HANKINS
Beginnings
-Born and raised in Bolivia, NC to Elloise Hickman and the late Lasalle Hankins
-Graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1986 with honors
-Graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
-Graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central School of law in 1994
-Worked with the Ramos & Lewis law Firm from 1994-1999
-Started the Law Office of Pauline Hankins in 2000 and operated until 2012
-Sworn in as District Court Judge for the 13th Judicial District in 2013
A Career Of Service
-Court appointed attorney in Juvenile Delinquent, Juvenile DSS, Child support and Criminal Court
-Certified arbitrator appointed by Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Ola Lewis and Chief District Court Jerry Jolly
-Per Diem Assistant District Attorney
-Privately retained attorney handling all district court matters, special proceeding matters, personal injuries actions, wills and estate planning.

In The Community
Judge Hankins teaches Vacation Bible School at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Bolivia, NC. She also hosts a Women’s Fellowship every third Saturday morning in her home with women of different denominations, connected by the their testimonies and the blood of Jesus.
